Celebrating Sound Vista Kids

The Sound Vista Kids Spotlight is a new program created to recognize the creativity, kindness, and dreams of children and teens who live at Sound Vista Mobile Home Park. This is a low‑pressure, participation‑focused event where every student who submits an entry receives a thank‑you gift.

What it is

Residents in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to share a drawing, short piece of writing, poem, story, or a simple photo with a caption. Kids can respond to one of these positive prompts—or create their own similar idea about kindness, gratitude, or the future:

Something kind I did for my family, neighbor, or pet
My dream for the future
What I’m grateful for

Parents or guardians may help younger children write a few sentences to go with their drawing or idea.

Gifts and prizes

To keep things welcoming for everyone, all participants who turn in an entry by the deadline will receive a $20 gift card as a thank‑you for taking part. Park management will also select one first‑place Spotlight Award winner ($500) and two Honor Award winners ($200 each), based on heart, effort, and creativity. Winners will be contacted directly, and prizes can be picked up from the onsite manager.

How to participate

Entries can be submitted to the onsite manager’s office or by email at soundvistamhp@gmail.com. Please include the student’s name, grade, lot number, and parent/guardian name. Entry forms can be printed from this website or be requested by sending emails to soundvistamhp@gmail.com. Families may also let us know if they would like their child’s work to be featured on the community website.
